"Smooth Elder Dancer" This looks like such a fun event! I love the fact that it was outdoors and during the day! Wish I could have attended and wish the LA timba community would throw a similar gig! |

Re: CUBA BAILA 1960's Oh My God!, What a AWESOME TIMES those years were!!... You guys have brought Tears to my Eyes, my lasts Carnavales en El Prado were in the early 60s, I came from Cuba 42 years ago I was just 14 and never been back, seeing these videos have brought back such a WONDERFUL MEMORIES and Nostalgia at the same time. No! there is NO other place in the World that Carnavales and Cuban Music is danced with such a Flavor and Fervor and Joy like the Cubans of YesterYear's. It's in our Blood and embedded in our Bones, to the Point when I feel sad and down, I prep-up my computer filled with the Old Cuban Music of salsa, Boleros, Danzones y hasta El Organo Oriental I play so laud in my house that my Cuban neighbors go Crazy with my Music they Love iT!.. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! For giving us at least little pieces of our past that Brings So MUCH to our Hearts today in the present!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK and the Findings of our Lost YesterYears!!! MUAH!!!...MUAH!!!.... THANK YOU!!! :-)) |
